BIOINFORMATICS UNIT and RESEARCH GROUP
The Bioinformatics Unit of the Cancer Research Center (CiC-IBMCC, University of Salamanca / CSIC) offers services for computational and bioinformatic analysis of complex biomolecular data. The Unit has large experience in transcriptomic and genomic data analysis. The service is run by Diego Alonso and Laura Bermúdez, both engineers with working experience in the new field of Bioinformatics. Dr. Javier De Las Rivas, PI scientist, is the research advisor of the Unit helping to provide a broad service in the field of computational biology. The Unit also has the scientific support of the Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics Research Group allocated in the CiC-IBMCC. .
This web site presents a series of pages that include the different types of services currently available, as well as tools and training for Bioinformatics:
> Services: Data analysis of microarrays (genes, exons, miRNAs, SNPs, etc).
> Tools: Bioinformatic web tools developed at the CiC-IBMCC.
> Research: Current topics in the Research Group.
> Training: Specialized courses on Bioinformatics.
